I have more than 15 years of experience in strategic design – nearly 10 of which include team leadership. I am a runner, passionate civil servant and creator of things (preferably out of yarn, paint, lumber or flora). I like to leave things better than when I found them. I prefer to go all in. On everything.

As a design leader, I paint a picture of where we want to go based on balance between customer needs and business goals and create a plan to get us there. I build partnerships with product and engineering to ensure better end products.    

As a team leader, I focus on building team inclusiveness and engagement with a strong focus on continuous skill-building, critique and collaboration. I am a champion of the design process and have been successful in leading teams from research through strategy, design and validation using agile methodologies.
